RECORBET Weaving was created in 1947 by Mr Léon RECORBET.
In the small workshop of Croizet Sur Gand, few small widths looms produce clothing fabrics for the silk trade in Lyon.
Mr Recorbet gave work to numerous small weaving workshops in the countryside and in the villages arround, to be able to honor the orders.
From the 60s, the company specializes in the lace curtain (transparent terylene) with the acquisition of looms in big widths (300 cms to 420 cms)
and pursues its development with 3 building extensions (1965-1967 and 1992). The last extension is a building used for ultra modern weaving.
In 1990, the founder passes on the company to his sons, Serge and Jean-Michel.
